Alcatel Mobile launched its Alcatel U5 series of smartphones along with other devices earlier in the year at the MWC event in Barcelona, and the company has now announced an upgraded version of the phone, the Alcatel U5 HD which comes with advanced features at a slightly higher price.

The Alcatel U5 HD features a 5.0-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1280 * 720 (HD). It has a cool design, uses capacitive navigation keys and has a curved back panel which aids easy grip.
Storage & Processor
The U5 HD comes with 1GB of RAM which its Quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 uses to run its operations smoothly. The smartphone has 8GB of internal storage and allows you to add extra storage capacity up to 128GB by using a microSD card.
Camera
An 8MP camera which has autofocus and is assisted by a LED flash takes care of main photography at the rear, while its 5MP front camera is assisted by a selfie flash to make sure your happy moments are never dull.
The smartphone also has numerous camera features like HDR, EIS, Instant Collage, Face Mask, Face Show, Selfie Album and Face Beauty to make your photography experience worth the while.
Battery & Connectivity
The Alcatel U5 HD runs on a 2200mAh battery which offers 4 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby. It comes with dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE.
