Until recently, we heard relatively nothing about the mid-range smartphone, but if you’re one of those that have been awaiting the device, you have cause to rejoice. The YU YUREKA S has been listed on YU Mobiles’ official website, meaning it’s going to start selling soon.

Display & Design
The YU YUREKA S comes with an LCD display 5.2-inches in dimension and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display has a resolution of 1920 * 1080, and the device itself has a symmetrical design and metal chassis.
Memory & Performance
Under the hood, the YU YUREKA S is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC with a maximum processing speed of 1.7GHz for fast and efficient completion off heavy tasks. This capability is further extended by an Adreno 405 GPU which takes the burden of graphics processing off the CPU.
The YU YUREKA S is bundled with 3GB of RAM to give the CPU enough space to carry out its operations. And heavy downloaders are not disappointed, as the YUREKA S comes with 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded to up to 32GB with a micro SD card.
Connectivity & Battery
The YU YUREKA S packs a 3,000mAh battery with no added featurres or fast-charge. It comes with an hybrid dual-SIM slot which can accommodate one micro SIM card and either a nano SIM card or an external micro SD card.
The YUREKA S supports 4G LTE with added Voice over LTE (VoLTE) functionality. Included also in the area of networking and connectivityare Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.
Camera
The YU smartphone possesses a 13MP camera at the rear equipped with a f/2.22 aperture and Omni Vision (OV) 13850 sensor for advanced mobile photography. It also comes with a LED flash for low-light situations.
The YUREKA S has a 5MP selfie shooter with 84o wide-angle lens, OV5693 sensor and f/2.22 aperture for capturing those wonderful moments.

The YUREKA S runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop from the box, and features some quality audio hardware like a Yamaha amp, Wolfson Pure sound controller and noise cancellation microphone.
