Design and Display of AGM A9
Design body type in this rugged smartphone is the plastic and metal materials combined to manufacture it. Dimensions are 168 x 81.4 x 12.6 mm and it weighs 251 grams. Furthermore, it comes only in black color. This device is water resistant but has no secondary display.
Display type is IPS LCD capacitive touch screen of 16 million colors. The screen size is 5.99 inches, pixel density is 403 ppi, pixels resolution is 2160 x 1080, aspect ratio is 18:9, and screen to body ratio is 67.9 percent.
Camera Features
The primary camera is a single 12 MP lens which comes with special features of Sony IMX486, 1.25-micron pixelsize, and dual LED flash technology. It is able to produce good quality images and videos of FHD recording option. The video comes out in 1080p@30fps.
To the front there is a 16 MP camera that has no flash option.
Other important camera features are geotagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, and HDR.

Android 8.1 Oreo is the operating system in the device and we trust that this OS will be able to update to the latest Android 9 Pie in due time. Also, Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset with process technology 14nm provides adequate support. There is 1.8 GHz Octa core Cortex A53 CPU, and Adreno 506 GPU in the smartphone hardware department as well. These work with 64-bit architecture.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
There are two variants of AGM A9. They also come with various prices. There’s 3GB/4GB of RAM. These being internal memory setups cannot be expanded. However, the internal storage of 32GB/64GB can be expanded both up to 256GB with microSD cards.
Sensors in the AGM A9 include accelerometer, proximity, light, gyro, fingerprint, and compass.
Network and Connectivity
AGM A9 has internet connectivity of 2G, 3G, and 4G. Furthermore, it is able to handle GSM, TD-SCDMA, HSPA, and LTE networks. This is operated through the use of two SIM cards in dedicated slots.
Other connectivity features are Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, NFC, USB Type-C with OTG. However, there is no HDMI, or infrared in this device.
