The Asus Zenbook 3 which was announced at the Computex event earlier in the year, has now been launched in India at the Asus Z3nvolution event. The event took off in India today August 17, and the Zenbook 3 is just one of the many Asus products that were newly launched.

The Asus Zenbook 3 has a full HD LED display which measures 12.5 inches; wide enough for reading notes comfortably. The screen-to-bezel ratio is 16:9, and the display has a color gamut capacity of 72% (NTSC), and brightness of 300nits.
Layered on the screen is a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for extra protection.

Assisting that is a Graphics Intel card capable of handling HD graphics; perfect for game freaks.
The Asus Zenbook 3 comes in two RAM variants – 8GB and 16GB, and both have a speed of 2133MHz. There are also two SSD variants; the first a 512GB M.2 SSD using PCI Express (PCIE) 3×4 technology, and the other a 512GB M.2 SSD using SATA3 technology.
Connectivity and Accessories
The laptop comes with a USB Type-C port and features a full backlit keyboard for easy typing in darkness. The keyboard is similar to modern desktop keyboards with 19.8mm key pitch and 0.8mm key depth which ensures comfortable typing.
Included is a fan which is designed to minimize working sound and take minimal space. The fan is just 3mm thick, which leaves enough room for other important components to be fixed in. The Zenbook 3 also has a fingerprint sensor.

The battery on the Zenbook 3, as claimed by Asus, is capable of taking you to up to 9 hours of full usage. It is a Lithium-Polymer 40Wh battery that is equipped with Asus fast charging, which enables it to charge up to 60% in just 49 minutes.
Software
The Asus Zenbook 3 comes running Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), with all the tweaks and features included in the latest update. This includes WINDOWS Hello which, together with the fingerprint sensor ensures maximum security.

Asus has announced that the Asus Zenbook 3 would be available in India from the 27th of November across all Asus Exclusive stores and offline/online retailers.
The Intel Core i5 variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD would cost Rs. 1,13,990, the Intel Core i7 variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD would cost Rs. 1,23,990 and the Intel Core i7 variant with 16GB RAM would cost Rs. 1,47,990.
