ASUS Zenbook UX410 – Features, Specs and Review

Asus Zenbook UX410

The ASUS Zenbook UX410 is a powerful, portable and an everyday laptop that’s not too expensive. ASUS Zenbook UX410 shares almost all features with Zenbook XU310. The laptop is 19mm thick and weighs 1.4kg, with the battery included. It has a bigger chassis which gives enough room for the keyboard to sits perfectly right. The device width and height is that of a standard 13-inch ultraportable laptop, and Asus has managed to perfect a 14-inch display right into it, all thanks to the 6 mm bezel. The webcam is placed above the screen.  The screen is quite good with excellent image display, and the battery is also strong as it is easy to work long hours before shutting down.

Asus Zenbook UX410 is considered an upgrade of last year Asus Zenbook UX310 that came with a 13.3-inch aluminium casing with an excellent display and huge battery capacity. You must know that this model is a bit heavier compared to other devices in the mid-range level. Competitors like the Acer Swift 5, HP Envy 13 and Lenovo IdeaPad 710S are often a few hundred grams lighter.

Keyboard and touchpad

The keyboard is the same as the one on UX310. Since the casing on this model is a bit wider than many other 13-inch laptops, it gives room for the keys to settle conveniently. The square keys have a nice size but seem to be loose, because they cannot be pushed out of the middle, but also coexist as pushing them from the sides. The touchpad is all covered in glass, making it easy to use.

Connectivity

Nothing has changed when you compare the connectivity with UX310. It is the fact that same Chassis is used. You will find on the left a USB 3.0 port, power jack, HDMI port, analogue audio jack and a USB Type-C port. On the other side are two working USB 2.0 ports and an SD card reader.

Asus Zenbook UX410 Performance

Asus comes in different configurations. Thus the Zenbook UX410 differs in performance. Be assured that these models are built with the same hardware, except for the difference in graphics hardware. In Asus Zenbook UX410UA, you get the Intel HD graphics while Asus Zenbook UX410UQ has a Nvidia GT 940MX graphics. The model number which ends with UAs are considered Entry-level configuration in both the US and Europe. The models tend to come with lesser RAM, Core i5 processors and a small SSD. The UQs, on the other hand, is available in Core i7 Configurations with better specs. These model are not criteria however as there might be different configurations in some regions.
