BQ Mobile BQ-6000L Aurora is not your average smartphone, this beast comes with four cameras. The company phones are known for their photography prowess and long lasting battery. The BQ-6000L Aurora smartphone from BQ Mobile is a beauty with amazing specs that doesn’t scream ‘midrange’. Want to know more about this device? Lets dig in.
Design
Before we actually dig in, can we take a moment to appreciate the beauty that is the BQ-6000L Aurora. Made exquisitely from metal and polished to perfection, the device is a stunner. The dual rear camera is at the top left corner, in a horizontal position with the Dual-LED flash.
The fingerprint scanner is just above the stylish BQ logo, with the ‘Aurora’ inscription underneath. It measures 8.2mm in thickness and weighs 189g, easy to hold and operate. The beautiful device supports dual nano sim as well, and available in Black and Gold colors.
Display
Its bezel-less with 75.74% screen to body ratio, dishing out a Full View display. The 6-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is a little bit overrated though, with just 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution. The screen could have been wider, since the bottom bezel is just there and top bezel still have much room.
Nevertheless, the screen is sharp with 268 pixel per inch density for immersive visuals and clarity. You can spot the details when playing games or watching movies with the BQ-6000L Aurora. Overall the 2.5D curved glass screen is clear to watch with multi-touch.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio P20 MT6757V chip with Octa-core processor. The processor reaches a clock speed of 2.3GHz for much faster performance. Housing a 64-Bit CPU architecture with 16nm process technology and 4GB RAM space. Multitask heavy apps and large games with ease, the 4GB RAM space has a memory speed of 1600MHz.

The graphics processor is an ARM Mali-T880 MP2 processing unit with 2-Cores, reaching a clock speed of 900MHz. For storage, the 64GB internal storage space should be enough for a your files and apps. But if it isn’t, you can upgrade up to 128GB using the Sim 2 slot. BQ Mobile BQ-6000L Aurora runs smoothly on Android 7.0 Nougat with modified user interface.
Camera
Where should i start from? The four cameras on this device are amazing, capturing images with 4160 x 3120 Pixels in dimension. The 13MP + 5MP rear shooter on this baby takes 4K resolution images with style. With a dual-LED flash beside it and other features like autofocus, touch focus, continuous shooting etc. Capture crystal clear selfies with the 20MP + 8MP selfie camera on this beauty. There’s no front LED flash at the top bezel which is not flattering at all, photos taken in low light environment won’t come out great.
Battery
The Aurora smartphone is powered by a 4010mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery, with fast battery charging feature. The battery on the device should boost up from 0% to 100% within 2-3 hours tops.
