Download Android P for non-pixel device supported

Google is doing something special this year, opening the public beta of Android P to devices other than its own Pixel phones. Well played!

If you own an Essential phone, Nokia 7 Plus, OPPO R15 Pro, OnePlus 6, Sony Xperia XZ 2, Vivo X21UD, Vivo X21 or Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, you can also have fun with the Android P.

Now if you’re using one of these compatible devices, things will not be as easy as on a Pixel smartphone when it comes to Android update. There are no OTA options, but if you’re comfortable downloading files and installing the software manually via ADB (or by client software), are well underway. Once you’ve followed the link below for your device, you’ll find instructions on how to install the Android P.

For OnePlus 6, which has not yet been released, OnePlus says the beta will open on May 16, the same day the phone launches.
