E&L D57 Specs Review, CMOS Camera, 2520MAH Battery

E&L D57 is one of the latest Android 9.0 Pie smartphones released in the month of July 2019. First thing I noticed is the battery which I think is not up to par when you pair it with Android Pie OS platform. But the CMOS technology on the main camera is really something worth taking a second look at. Is there any good thing users can love about this smartphone? Let’s take a look in this brief review.

E&L D57 Design and Display

E&L D57 is a plastic mobile device. People like that because it makes the phone lightweight. The colors found on the mobile device are red, and blue and that users or buyers don’t have a lot of choices to make in this regard. This phone is not a waterproof device and has no fingerprint technology but the dimensions are 72 x 147 x 9.4 mm and it weighs 157 grams.

The display is an IPS capacitive touchscreen and it is able to handle 16 million colors for display purposes. Also, the size of the screen is 6.18 inches, the screen resolution is found to 480 x 996 pixels. The pixel density is 195 ppi. Another great feature found in here is the 2.5D curved glass screen. So, although the display seems fortified, the pixel resolution is poor.

Camera Features

E&L D57 comes with two cameras. Although the megapixels found on the camera are low although E&L tries to infuse plenty other in-camera features probably to make buyers forget the lack due in some other camera features. This is normal for a phone with the kind of display feature we outlined above. The camera to the rear is 5.04 MP with image resolutions of 2592 x 1944 pixels, while the video resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels at 30fps. Features include LED flash, HDR, auto focus, panorama, and others. The selfie camera is 1.92 MP.

Hardware and Software

This E&L D57 runs on Android 9.0 Pie but we fully vouch that this will upgrade to future operating software (OS). Also, it comes with MediaTek MT6580 chipset system at the performance department. This operates with process technology 28nm and 64-bit architecture. However, the CPU is Quad core, while the GPU is ARM Mali 400 MP2.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

E&L D57 arrives with 1GB of RAM which cannot be expanded but the internal storage of 8GB can be boosted externally with a microSD card and a dedicated card slot. There are three sensors in the device and they include proximity, accelerometer, and ambient light. Surely, all these are easily found like these in most E&L smartphones.

Network and Connectivity

Thankfully, E&L D57 makes it to the ranks of 4G Android phone that has capacity for two nano SIM slots. Furthermore it is also able to handle 2G, 3G, and 4G and that means it has GSM on several speeds while the user browses the internet. On the other side, there are components like Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth, A2DP, GPS, A-GPS, USB 2.0, audio jack, and other features.

Battery Power

Powering the E&L D57 possesses a non-removable Li-Po 2520 mAh battery. The mobile device has no wireless charging and no fast charging supports. The talk time and standby times are not specified but the user can find that out according to individual use.
