Freetel Rei 2 Dual was released by the Japanese based company on the 12th of February. The midrange device comes with dual rear shooters, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It dishes out a Full View display as well, as Freetel meant business with the smartphone. The device gives great value for money going with all its amazing specs. Design
Comes in a full shinning Metal unibody that reflects light in the most subtle way. When out and about with the device on a sunny day, the light reflection makes magical lines at the back of the phone. Its definitely one of those device you can flaunt, while unlocking it easily with the rear fingerprint scanner.
The dual rear shooters at the top left corner also adds to the beauty of the device. While the LED flash completes the horizontal train sitting right beside the cameras. Its quite comfortable to hold as well, measuring 7.9 mm slim and weighing 158g. The stunning device is available in only White, Blue and Black colors.
Display
Turning over to the other side now, there narrow bezels in sight but the top and bottom corner are filled with bezels. The selfie camera and the speaker grid are at the top bezel, while the bottom bezel is obviously vacant as you can see. But lets forget about the bezels for a minute and focus on the screen.
The details on the screen should come out sharp, the 5.5-inch FHD IPS LCD LTPS Capacitive touchscreen is brilliant. With 1920 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 401 pixel per inch density, see all the details on your screen come alive. The screen got to a 73.4% screen to body ratio, offering multi-touch support and scratch resistant.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 chip with Octa-core processor. The processor reaches a clock speed of 2.0 GHz, with a 14nm process technology and 64-bit CPU architecture. The graphics processor is a Qualcomm Adreno 506 graphics processing unit, in charge of everything graphics.
Multitask through heavy apps and games with ease, thanks to 4GB of RAM. The RAM on this device reaches a memory speed of 933MHz for smooth and hassle free multitasking. There’s a massive 64GB internal storage space available to accommodate all your apps and files. When you eventually run out of space, you can upgrade up to 256GB with a memory card. The Rei 2 Dual runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with modified user interface.
Camera
It was named after the dual rear 13MP + 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture that captures 4K resolution images. The dual-LED flash beside it and other quality features help take photographs of 4163 x 3122 pixels in dimension. Record videos of 1080pixels @ 30 frames per second and capture stunning selfies with the 16MP front facing camera.
Battery
The Rei 2 Dual houses a 3300mAh Non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast charging technology. Furthermore, it shouldn’t take up to 2 hours to fully charge the device from 0% to 100%.
