How To solve Samsung Galaxy S9+ Call Cannot Be Heard

  • Get in touch with your service provider to know the network steadiness or if there have been any network problems in your area.

Carry out a soft reset

The first thing that you want to do here is to carry out a soft reset. This will typically fix problems caused by software glitches as it will refresh the device software.

  • Click and hold the Power and Volume down button for up to 45 seconds.
  • Now, wait as the phone will restart.

Check if the problem still exists.

Start the device in Safe Mode

Another feature that can cause this issue is an application that was downloaded from harmful and unsecured sources. To know whether this case is from the app you will want to start the device in Safe Mode since only the pre-installed applications are allowed to work in this mode.

  • Switch the device off.
  • Hold and Press the Power button past the model name screen showing on the screen.
  • When SAMSUNG shows up on your screen, leave the Power button.
  • After releasing the Power button, Click and hold the Volume down button.
  • Continue to press the Volume down button until the phone finishes restarting.
  • When Safe mode shows in the bottom left corner of the device screen, leave the Volume down button.

Check if the problem still exists.

Wipe the cache partition of the device

The device system cached data is used to level up the access to your device applications. Sometimes this data can be corrupted which results in problems ranging on the phone. To see if a corrupted cached data is actually causing the issue you will want to wipe the cache partition of the device from the recovery mode.

  • Switch off the device.
  • The click and hold the Volume Up button and the Bixby button, then tap and hold the Power button.
  • When the logo shows up, leave all buttons (‘Installing system update’ will be seen for about 30 – 60 seconds before appearing and showing the Android system recovery menu).
  • Tap the Volume down button so that “wipe cache partition.” Will be highlighted
  • Tap the Power button to choose.
  • Click the Volume down button to select “yes” and click the Power button to choose.
  • When the wipe cache partition is done correctly, “Reboot system now” is selected.
  • Then Tap the Power button to restart the phone.
