HTC Desire 12 Plus is now officially the advanced version of the HTC Desire 12. This is coming after HTC’s CEO Chia-Lin Chang resigned last month after the company had a rough 2017.

The 12 Plus looks exactly like the Desire 12 with little upgrades internally and externally. It now houses a Qualcomm’s snapdragon chip instead of the Mediatek chip in its predecessor with a bigger display screen. Want to know more? Stay with me.
Design
No changes here, it sports an Aluminium Alloy overall unibody with sleek finishing touches. There’s a fingerprint scanner at the rear. The dual rear camera is at the top left corner with the LED flash right beside it, only the HTC logo is visible at the middle.
Two antenna lines are at the top and bottom corner which adds to the beauty of the device. Furthermore, it measures 8.4 mm slim by the sides and weighs just 155g. Looks bigger than its predecessor and is also available in Black, Silver and Gold colors.
Display
It flows with the current trend, coming bezel-less with no navigation buttons at the bottom bezel. Dishing out an 18:9 aspect ratio and stretching up to 76.5% screen to body ratio. Sports minimal narrow bezels as well, while the top houses the selfie camera, speaker grille and ambient light sensor.
The bigger 5.99-inch HD+ IPS, LCD Capacitive touchscreen displays like a budget smartphone. Boasting of 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution with just 268 pixel per inch density. Nevertheless, it has a Blue Light filter, full lamination technology and curved glass on top which offers scratch resistant.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is a much faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SDM450 chip with 64-bit CPU architecture. Has an octa-core processor as well which reaches a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz. Handling graphics, is the Qualcomm Adreno 506 graphics processor with 28nm process technology.
The Desire 12 Plus is ready for multitasking with 3GB RAM space available, reaching a memory speed of over 1 GHz. There’s 32GB available internal storage space to store up files, but you can upgrade up to 400GB if you want. Simply insert a memory card in the SIM slot 2 to upgrade further. The Desire 12 Plus runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Camera
At the rear, a sharp dual 13MP + 2MP camera is always ready to capture 4K resolution images. It comes with a LED flash and other quality features to capture photographs with 4163 x 3122 pixels in dimension. Record videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second and take stunning selfies with the 8MP selfie camera.
Battery
Powering the HTC Desire 12 Plus is a 2965mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 1.8 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.

If it come with 5.7 inch & 6000Mah that’s good but if not bye-bye to HTC.
The device is cool, and N60, 000 is not bad for the phone. but the only thing HTC need to improve on is the battery aspect, a lot need to be done on that. Asides from that, I like the brand.
Htc desire 12 plus seems to be pretty promising device with some good specifications and features.
