DESIGN

On measurements, the Huawei Honor 6A device measures 143.7 x 71 x 8.2 mm. This is as it also weighs 143 g. With such weight, the device seems easy to be carried about. On the rear of the device, there’s a fingerprint sensor with the traditional round shape that always comes with it. Just above the sensor is the camera, with a LED flash beside it. The front camera is situated above the display as usual. For individuality, there are the Gold, Silver, Blue and Pink colour variants.

DISPLAY

The Huawei Honor 6A features an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display type, with its display size pegged at 5.0 inches.  It also has a ~67.5% screen-to-body ratio and a display resolution amounting to 720 x 1280 pixels. A not too impressive ~294 ppi pixel density is what takes care of the on-screen images and icons. Over here, we think Huawei could have done better with the pixel density.

PROCESSOR AND OS

Built on a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 processor, the Huawei Honor 6A device runs on an Android operating system v7.0 (Nougat). The processor speed, in this case, is pegged at 1.5 GHz.

INTERNAL STORAGE AND RAM

Putting the internal storage and RAM in context, there are two available variants. One is the 16 GB, 2 GB RAM; the other is the 32 GB, 3 RAM. Both internal memories can be expanded to the tune of 256 GB with the help of micro SD card. The micro SD card would make use of the Sim 2 slot.

CAMERA

On the rear of the device, there’s a 13 MP camera with LED flash and autofocus. Other features of the camera include Geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection. While on the front of the phone, a 5 MP camera is spotted at its proper place.

CONNECTIVITY

The device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1, micro USB 2.0 and GPS. The thing is the device supports the 4G LTE network.

BATTERY

As its powerhouse, there’s a Li-Ion 3020 mAh battery tucked in. This Huawei Honor 6A device is one apparently made for the average smartphone users. Heavy users would not find this battery capacity too attractive. They would rather look out for something more. Say a 4000 mAh and above battery capacity.

PRICE OF THE HUAWEI HONOR 6A DEVICE

Th price of this device is pegged at 150 euros. The price of the Huawei Honor 6A device in Nigeria ranges from N45,000 to N60,000. In our opinion about the price, we think it is a very fair one as the device is somewhat a mid-ranged phone.
