Design
Doesn’t look like a rugged device from the back, but sports a Polycarbonate body with IP68 certifications. The dust and water resistant smartphone has dual vertical cameras at the top and a LED flash by the side.
The phone offers a nice grip for users thanks to its well designed and rugged body. It’s bulky as usual, measuring 12.9 mm in thickness and weighing 230g overall. No color options here, the device is available in only Black color.
Display
It’s hard to see a rugged smartphone that’s bezel-less, the Kyocera DuraForce Pro KC-S702 come with lots of bezels. With three navigation buttons sitting at the bottom bezel, while the top houses the Kyocera logo speaker grille and selfie camera.
The 5-inch FHD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen exceeded my expectations to be honest. Boasts of 1080 x 1920 pixels in resolution and 441 pixel per inch density, dishing out immersive visuals from a 5-inch. Moving further, the screen stretches up to 63.40% screen to body ratio.

Hardware and Software
Comes loaded with the Snapdragon 617 from Qualcomm with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-cores of processor runs at a speed of 1.5GHz delivering fast performance with 28nm process technology as well. In charge of graphics is the Qualcomm Adreno 405 graphics processor.
Just 2GB of RAM is available on the Kyocera DuraForce Pro KC-S702, but it has a faster memory speed of 933MHz. A massive 32GB storage space is available as well, you can easily upgrade further up to 256GB using a memory card. The Kyocera DuraForce Pro KC-S702 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with modified user interface.
Camera
The dual 13MP + 2MP shooters at the rear has so many features like optical zoom, panorama view and the rest. The cameras boast of f/2.0 aperture and f/2.2 aperture respectively, recording HD videos of 720 pixels at 30 frames per second. While the 5MP selfie shooter has f/2.4 aperture and captures cute selfies as well.

Powering the Kyocera DuraForce Pro KC-S702 is a 3240mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast charging and wireless charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 2 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.

This looks like a Military device: rugged and tough. The specs are ok. I like it.
yes the smartphone has a nice specs but also the company should atleast work on designing the smartphone uniquely because this design is not really encouraging and also to me the smartphone is somehow on the high price! Thank you techvaz
