macOS Mojave allows “Hey Siri” with the iMac Pro

“Hey Siri” is a fine thing and is regularly used by people on the HomePod, iPhone and the Apple Watch. With the MacBook Pro, which appeared a few weeks ago, the function also landed on the Mac. MacOS Mojave unlocked the next Mac for the feature. We’re talking about the iMac Pro.

macOS Mojave allows “Hey Siri” with the iMac Pro

macOS Mojave brings another improvement to the iMac Pro. This Mac is the first Apple computer in which the so-called T2 chip is installed. The T2 chip landed a few weeks ago in the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. For the MacBook Pro 2018, Apple had already activated the “Hey Siri” feature.

With the release of macOS Mojave, the function also lands on the iMac Pro. In the system settings, you will find under the menu item Siri the possibility to activate or deactivate this function.

In a support document, Apple once again addresses this fact. With this Apple refers to all devices that basically “Hey Siri” can handle. In addition to the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (2018) is now listed on the Macs, the iMac Pro.
