DESIGN
With a measurement of 151.5 x 73.7 x 7.9 mm. The Nokia 8 weighs 160g. The shell of the smartphone is made of metal, which is milled out of 6000 series aluminium. This Nokia phone proves to be a very sleek one. Just as it comes in very different colors – Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Steel, and Polished Copper. There’s a fingerprint sensor mounted on the front of the phone. Precisely on the home button strategically placed below the display.
DISPLAY
With an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, the screen size is pegged at 5.3 inches. We do not know why the makers chose not to cap it above that size. The display resolution is set at 1440 x 2560 pixels. This is as there’s a ~69.4% screen-to-body ratio. Very impressive is the ~554 ppi pixel density of the Nokia 8 as it would surely display very bright on-screen images and icons.
PROCESSOR AND OS
Nokia 8 is built on an Octa-core Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor. This is as it runs on an Android operating system v7.1.1 (Nougat).
INTERNAL STORAGE AND OS
For your storage of music, videos, documents and other files, the phone avails users with a 64 GB storage space. There’s also a 128 GB storage space variant. For these two, a 4 GB and 6 GB RAM respectively is taking care of the smooth running of the applications. The internal storage can be expanded to the tune of 256 GB with the use of a micro SD card.

On the rear of the Nokia phone, there’s a dual 13 MP camera, with dual LED flash. This camera quality is the same as on the front. Features of the camera include 1.12µm pixel size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama. A huge selling point of the Nokia 8 is the presence of the “bothies” feature. This is the ability to capture images and videos from the front and rear cameras at the same time.

As its powerhouse, there’s a non-removable 3,090 mAh Li-Ion battery. Evidently, this would be just right for average smartphone users. The Nokia 8 smartphone might not be the best of all choices for very heavy smartphone users.
