Ever since late last year, Nokia has been doing all its possible best and whatever it takes to make the company’s name maiden again. And having released a number of devices like the Nokia 3, the 5.5-inch Nokia 6, the beautiful 2GB RAM Nokia 5 and the legendary Nokia 3310 to grease their comeback course, Nokia seem not to be stopping anytime soon. The company also released the Nokia 8 not long into 2017.
There have been rumours of Nokia releasing a new device this year. In fact, the device was rumoured to be codenamed “Nokia Heart” and new information reveals that the Nokia 9 could be the supposed “Nokia Heart” and is the next device in line for launch from the company.
The Nokia 9 is a high-end device that will sport a 5.27-inch display with a 1440×2560 pixel resolution and screen density of 557 pixels per inch. The screen on the Nokia 9 is a QHD (Quad High Definition) screen which is a resolution standard for high-end monitors, televisions, tablets and mobile devices. And just so you know, it is four times that of the standard 720p high-definition.
The Nokia 8 successor will be coming out of the box with Android Nougat v7.1.1 alongside a Snapdragon 835 chipset and 4GB RAM. A 6GB RAM version of the Nokia 9 is also expected but internal memory still remains 64GB on the two variant.
As for the camera, a dual camera and dual LED flash set-up is on the rear of the Nokia 9 and according to available info, both sensors are 13MP lens. Front camera capacity is not know yet.
Gizbot reports that the Nokia 9 will likely be shipped with a pair of high-quality in-ear headphones with full cable control (play/pause and two volume buttons). Nokia 9 has a USB Type-C port and supports Quick charge technology and will be shipped with a charger capable of delivering 5V to 2.5A, 9V to 2A or 12V at 1.5A.
The Nokia 9 is a device that holds a lot of promise. Inquisitr Technology reports a Benchmark score of 7770 for the Nokia 9 in multi-core tests. This puts the Nokia 9 in a top spot above top dogs like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the iPhone 7 Plus with Benchmark score of 7252 and 6123 respectively.
