Panasonic has more budget smartphones in its inventory than any other category of smartphones, and that inventory has gotten bigger with the Panasonic P9 which was launched in the Panasonic P series some days ago in India.
Panasonic P9 Specifications, Review and Highlights
Design & Display
The Panasonic P9 (thankfully) has a metal body design, unlike many budget smartphones that are covered with plastic, driving home the budget tag on them.
It has a 5-inch FWVGA (854 * 480) display that is protected with Asahi Dragon Trail Glass. The smartphone weighs 144g and is 8.6mm thick.
Storage & Processor
The P9 comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using an external microSD card.
It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor with a max speed of 1.1GHz, while its graphics processes are carried out by a Mali T720 GPU.
The smartphone sports an 8MP camera with a f/2.0 aperture and LED flash at the rear to handle main photography, and a 5MP camera is present at the front for taking selfies.
