Doogee S60 Lite is an affordable rugged smartphone you might be interested in, especially for those on a budget. The device is a much cheaper variant of Doogee’s rugged flagship device the S60.

Design
A combination of Aluminium Alloy and Polycarbonate formed its rugged back. The device is IP68 certified offering water, dust and scratch resistant. It can survive from drops and forceful impact without a scratch. It is absolutely strong no doubt but don’t try doing what’s on the photo above.
Sporting a rear fingerprint scanner at the back for easy access to the phone. The rear camera has a dual-LED sitting right beside it, with the Doogee logo underneath the camera. The back is very strong and can stand almost anything you hit it with. Moving to the side it measures 15.5 mm as usual and weighs an astonishing 287g. In terms of colors, it’s available in Black, Gold and Silver colors.
Display
Just like every other rugged smartphone, it’s nowhere near bezel-less reaching a disappointing 56% screen to body ratio. Furthermore, the screen is shatter proof according to Doogee and will stand the test of time.
Speaking of the screen, the FHD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen boasts of a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The screen should be crystal clear due to its compactness, it has 424 pixel per inch density as well. The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the screen is in charge of protecting it from scratches and falls but you might still need to get a screen protector.
Hardware and Software
The MediaTek MT6750 chip with 8-cores of processor is in charge here. The processor should reach a maximum speed of 1.5 GHz with a 64-bit CPU architecture offering smooth performance. It has a 28nm process technology and ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor. The processor comes with 2-Cores and clocks at 520MHz.
Multitask with ease and enjoy your apps with no slow mode, up to 4GB RAM space is available to coverage all that. The RAM space has a memory speed of 667 MHz for fast multitasking. You can store all files in 32GB storage space available and upgrade up to 128GB if you want. The S60 Lite runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified user interface.
Camera
The pixels on the rear camera is not as much as before with only 16MP available for your photography needs. Typically, it should capture 4K resolution images and up to 4608 x 3456 pixels in image dimension. The camera has a f/2.2 aperture, dual-LED flash and other amazing features to help improve your photography skills. For selfies, there’s an 8MP Samsung camera at the top bezel with f/2.8 aperture, supports HDR mode and has an 87° wide angle lens.
Battery
Powering the Doogee S60 Lite up is a 5580mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with Qi wireless charging and fast charging technology.
